Yamunotri Yatra from Delhi

Day 1 Delhi- Haridwar

Once you arrive at New Delhi Railway Station or at the airport, you will meet our representative who is there to pick you up and assist you for the entire journey. After receiving you from Delhi he will escort you to Haridwar where you will be staying overnight so on reaching this city also called “gateway to heaven” you will be transferred to the hotel. The driving distance must have made you tired so we have not planned any schedule for the day except participating in grand evening Ganga Aarti ceremony. If you feel comfortable and time allows then you can also go to visit Mansa Devi Temple or else head back to the hotel and go to sleep.

Established on the bank of River Ganga, Haridwar is a city where one can experience the immense spiritual experience and is believed to be the place of divine power. It is also popular as one of the holiest cities in India where Kumbh Mela is organized and the city that boasts of Har Ki Pauri Ghat and this is how it is one of the must-visit destinations in India.

Day 2 Haridwar- Barkot

Wake up a little early and have your breakfast which is then followed by completing the check-out formalities. Post-check-out leave from Haridwar and drive towards Barkot via Mussoorie. Kempty Waterfalls fall on the same route so there is a schedule of making halt for some time so that you can collect some beautiful pictures of this gorgeous waterfall and also the lofty mountain peaks and after this photo session continue driving towards Barkot where you will stay overnight.

Day 3 Barkot- Yamunotri- Barkot

Another day in the row when you will start your day very early nearly around 5 in the morning. Get ready to drive towards Janki Chatti or the Phool Chatti from where the trek to Yamunotri commences and the trek is considered to be very challenging which is not easily covered by someone. So, if you feel uncomfortable to cover the trekking trail by walking then you can avail the facility of pony or palanquin rides by paying some bucks. On reaching the top of the trek, first, take bath in the holy Tapt Kund and then proceed towards the temple. After completing the puja rituals at the shrine and seeking the blessings of Goddess, trek back to Jankichatti from where you will be transferred to Barkot via road transport. The day was too long and full of tiring activities so no other schedule for the day.

Day 4 Barkot - Haridwar

Post treating your taste buds with relishing morning meal, you will have to check-out from the hotel in Barkot as we are going to drive back to Haridwar. However, this is almost a 7-hour long journey but the scenic vistas falling en-route negotiates your tiredness and makes you feel refreshed throughout the journey. We will follow the same schedule after reaching Haridwar what we followed at the beginning of the journey i.e. after a few hours of relax walk along the narrow lanes of Haridwar and reach Har Ki Pauri to participate in Ganga Aarti ceremony in the evening.

Day 5 Haridwar - Delhi

Gorge on Garhwali cuisine for the last time and then pack your bags to drive towards Delhi. After dropping you at IGI Airport or at New Delhi Railway Station our representative says goodbye as your journey with us concludes here.
