One of the most popular and highly sacred journeys in Hinduism, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is covered by thousands of Hindu devotees every year thronging from different nooks and corners of the world. However, this number could reach up to different level but due to the insane locations of the pilgrimage, many devotees cannot accomplish their dream of embarking on this divine Yatra. If you are also dreaming of covering this pilgrimage want to dwell yourself in the spiritual bliss of Lord Shiva and to seek the blessings for their health and prosperity but worried of its challenging locations then check out our Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by helicopter ex Delhi and make your journey an easier and a faster one.
Day 1: Transfer to Lucknow from Delhi
On the very first day of your trip, you will be transferred to Lucknow from Old Delhi. Upon your arrival in Lucknow, you will be transferred to the hotel where you will be staying overnight.
Day 2 : Arrival in Kathmandu
Early morning you will be arranged with a smooth transfer from the hotel to the airport for boarding the flight to Kathmandu. On your landing at the airport, you will be picked up by our representative who will then escort you to the hotel for the night meal of the day followed by a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 3 :Kathmandu sightseeing trip and then proceed towards Nepalgunj
Post a relishing breakfast at the hotel go for the half sightseeing trip where you will be covering the destinations like Boudhanath Temple, Budhanilkantha Temple and Pashupatinath Temple. Later in the afternoon, fly towards Nepalgunj where on setting foot transfer yourself to the hotel. You can also drive towards Surkhet for the overnight halt.
Day 4 :From Nepalgunj fly to Simikot and then board the helicopter to Hilsa and drive towards Taklakot
Today early morning leave from Nepalgunj and board the flight to Simikot where you can relax for a few hours and after a few hours of relax get ready to take the helicopter ride from Hilsa. As you are provided with the group visa so you will have to wait for your other group members as the entire group must enter Tibet together as a group. Later in the afternoon, you all will drive towards Taklakot via the Purang border from Hilsa. Depending upon the weather and some other conditions you will be provided with the accommodation either in Simikot or Taklakot. To reach the destination you will have to cover 3 check-posts and at each check-point, it takes almost an hour to complete all the formalities.
Day 5At Taklakot
The fifth day of your journey is set free and is scheduled for acclimatization so spend your entire day in acclimatization. You are at the place that is located at a huge elevation and this is why your body needs to adapt to the climate of this new place so acclimatization is a must.
Day 6 :Drive towards the Mansarovar Lake
Treat your taste buds with the healthy and scrumptious morning meal and then start your drive towards Manasarovar Lake. You may be crossing the first check-point today and after covering the distance of almost 70 kilometers from Taklakot you will arrive at the Rakshas Tal where you can see Gurla Mandhata Parvat of Mount Kailash and also the glimmering Mansarovar Lake. You need to cover a total distance of 25 kilometers to reach this pious lake. It is believed that completing the Parikrama of this lake helps you attain all your wishes and desires. Start the Parikrama today and also perform the puja rituals.
Day 7 :First Parikrama and then drive towards Darchen Dwar and cover the trekking trail to Diraphuk
Post breakfast get yourself ready to cover the driving distance of almost an hour (35 kilometers) to reach Darchen and then 8 kilometers more to reach Yama Dwar, the starting line for Kora. Wear your trekking gears as you are going to cover the challenging trekking trail of almost 14 km today and this is going to be one of the best moments of your trip as today you get the clear vision of the north face of Mount Kailash and can also touch the feet of the sacred mountain. However, if you are not interested to walk around the revered Mt. Kailash then you can wait at Darchen and wait for the other group members to join you after the Parikrama.
Day 8 :Second day of Parikrama and trek to Zuthulphuk
Breakfast is a must today as you are going to spend the second consecutive day in trekking. Although the day trek is shorter than the one you had covered the previous day yet it is very difficult and it is going to take almost 3 hours to complete the trekking trail and to reach Dolma La Pass. When you walk downwards, the difficulty level is till 3 km but the mesmerizing beauty of the surroundings makes it easier to cover. If you are feeling completely exhausted and want to relax then make your stay at Phedi while others can complete their second day of Parikrama. This is going to take a long time so you can relax well and wait unless your other group members join you.
Day 9 :Third Day of Parikrama- Trek towards Darchen- drive towards Hilsa via Taklakot
Post savoring the breakfast at the hotel, wear your trekking gears to cover the trekking trail of 8 km. once you are done with the activity reach the point where you will board our bus that will take you to Darchen and then from there you will be taken to Hilsa. If the weather is in favor then we will avail you the helicopter ride to drop you at Simikot.
Day 10 :Simikot- Nepalgunj and then fly towards Kathmandu
If you couldn’t reach Simikot the day before due to weather or any other issues then today morning you will be reaching Simikot and then fly again to reach Nepalgunj which is located at an aerial distance of almost 1 hr. Now the time has come to board the flight for Kathmandu.
Day 11 :Departure from Kathmandu
You will be provided with a certificate for the successful completion of this pious Yatra. As you are left with some time for your flight so you can relax in the cozy hotel room. Post completing the check-out formalities, you will be dropped at the airport 2 hours prior to your flight time and this is how your journey with us concludes here.
